Hello

As the founder and CEO of the Yofi Foundation, I have a passion for helping those who have fallen on hard times but have chosen to persevere through adversity. Growing up in the inner city of Dallas, Texas. I found myself facing these hard times as a young adult. I chose the wrong path and at the age of 20 found myself facing 15 years in prison. Once incarcerated, I felt I had two choices: either make the best of the situation or become a statistic like so many others before me. I chose the road of perseverance, I made a decision the first day of my incarceration that if I ever was released, I would always choose to do the right thing and help others along the way.

In creating Yofi, my primary goal and objective is to provide the same resources that my family and friends provided to me. Yofi will partner with other foundations and businesses to provide a support system that is needed for individuals to overcome the obstacles that come with re-acclimation into society.
I realized that I am an anomaly and most people don't have the resources that I had.
The hope is for the Yofi foundation to simulate the resources that were provided to me, expedite the re-acclimation period, and hopefully put an end to recidivism….I AM YOFI.
